Field visit for the faculty members of the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Jadu - Nalut University.
As part of enhancing scientific and cultural cooperation and linking the academic aspect with the civilizational and historical reality, members of the faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Jadu Engineering College visited the archaeological museum of Bani Walid on Monday, July 28, 2025, coordinated graciously by Professor Abdul Fattah Al-Mabrouk Al-Bakoush, a faculty member at the college.
The delegation received a warm and official welcome from Mr. Abdullah Al-Nakoua, the director of the tourism office in the city of Bani Walid, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the importance of the museum and the rich archaeological sites that the city boasts. Bani Walid is home to more than 4,500 archaeological landmarks that testify to its deep history and diverse civilizations.
At the end of the visit, the director of the tourism office presented brochures and informational booklets about the most important archaeological sites in the city to the faculty members, as a gesture of cooperation and shared knowledge.
It has been agreed between the two sides to organize a field visit for the students of the College of Engineering - Jadu, which will include the museum and some other archaeological sites in the city.
This step reflects the interest of the administration of Jado College of Engineering in instilling archaeological awareness in the hearts of faculty members and students, connecting them to the rich history of their country, and utilizing this awareness to build a future based on the authenticity of the past and the sciences of the present.
The faculty members of the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering in Jadu extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Abdullah Al-Nakoua, Director of the Tourism Office in Bani Walid, Mr. Riad Al-Sayed, Director of the Bani Walid Archaeological Museum, and Mr. Misbah Abdul Hafiz, an archaeological expert in Bani Walid, for their warm hospitality, enriching knowledge, and sincere efforts that reflected the spirit of cooperation and openness towards higher education institutions.
