About the Department
In this era, we are surrounded by products of "Electrical Engineering and Computer Science" and their services from all sides. The energy we enjoy in homes and offices, electronic devices, and control interfaces within various systems, inside cars and airplanes, manufacturing and production systems, as well as communication systems, electronics, their networks, and the internet. All these systems and their applications in different fields are parts of the specialty of electrical engineering. From the above, the importance of electrical engineering arises.
The Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering in the city of Jadu was established in 1992, where the department aims to provide an outstanding program that responds to the scientific and technological changes occurring in the world on one hand, and to the needs of the local community in this field on the other hand.
Department Head's Speech
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the most important departments in the College of Engineering. Its mission and objectives stem from the mission and objectives of the college and the university, which aim to serve the community by graduating distinguished electrical and electronics engineers who possess the highest levels of scientific competence capable of facing the future and meeting the needs of the labor market in the fields of electricity (communications, control systems, computers, and electrical power). To achieve this mission, the faculty works with a spirit of teamwork and dedication, generously providing continuous support in guiding, directing, and following up with students. I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to them and pray for their health and that their deeds be weighed in their favor.

laboratories
The College of Engineering is one of the applied colleges that requires continuous funding and support to manage the teaching process at the college in order to graduate engineers equipped in their profession with both theoretical and practical aspects. The completion of the theoretical aspect is contingent upon the completion of the practical aspect; therefore, laboratories and workshops are considered vital and essential components of the teaching process at the college. Students train in these facilities, which enhance their understanding and broaden their theoretical engineering concepts.
