About the Department
The Department of General Basic Sciences aims to prepare college students from its various departments to obtain a sufficient share of the college's required courses. The Department of Basic Sciences is considered a complementary unit to the other departments in the college, and thus the department provides students with the necessary knowledge and basic sciences such as (Mathematics - Physics - Engineering Mechanics - Chemistry - Engineering Drawing) and humanities (Arabic Language - English Language). Although the department does not grant any academic degree, it plays a vital and creative role in expanding students' horizons so that they can excel in their various specializations.
