Students from the Faculty of Engineering at Jadu, Nalut University, won fourth place in the "Skills and Solutions 2025" hackathon.

The Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Nalut University, Mr. Mohammed Ali Abudina, attended the closing ceremony of the Skills and Solutions Hackathon 2025, which was hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Tripoli University on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

This presence reaffirms Nalut University’s commitment to supporting and encouraging a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among its students.

The university team achieved fourth place in the axis of financial awareness and inclusion, in a competition that gathered more than 2

80 teams from various Libyan universities. On this occasion, we congratulate our outstanding students from the Faculty of Engineering - Jadu, Department of Electrical Engineering, who participated in the hackathon under the supervision of Professor Hassan Al-Qamoudi, a faculty member of the college..

This achievement is a testament to the quality of education and the efforts made at Nalut University to prepare a generation capable of competing.

And creating practical solutions that contribute to the development of Libyan society and economy.

The Skills and Solutions Hackathon focused on vital areas including employment, the green and blue economy, and financial inclusion. The closing ceremony was attended by high-level representatives from international and governmental entities, including Dr. Khaled Ghouma, the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Tripoli, Mr. Saleh Al-Ghul, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Al-Hweij, the Minister of Economy and Trade, and representatives from the European Union mission and the French embassy.
